I was seriously quite sick of the Balmain-inspired bony shouldered jackets that were shown on the runway for the past three seasons and those that have trickled down into the high-street shops. I have nothing but serious respect for Christophe Decarnin but the distressed military/ stonewashed drummerboy look neither works for me, is totally out of my budget and looks much better on Paris Vogue's Emmanuelle Alt than on me. Thus I didn't have any high hopes for the Fall 2010 collection but his take on the high-collared seventeenth-century cutaway coat just squashed me. I totally adore the Louis XIV at Versailles look. The brocade is just driving me mad with love but the irony is that I still can't afford it. Hehe.
Above is my favourite coat from the collection.
I just absolutely ADORE IT!!!!!!!!!

glam it up

I've always thought that denim looks particularly pretty on blondes and this ed is no exception. There's something about the yellow and blue which reminds me of the beach???!
On the look-out for floral-printed pants and maybe a denim motorcycle jacket. I've already got a dark and light denim jacket but the one above is a nice take on the biker (by Gap FYI). Make sure to check out the site for prices if there's anything you fancy.

Lovin' the outfit Lily D.

Just found this look-a-like necklace that Lily has on in the pics below at a fraction of the price (around 20 bucks) considering hers is probably designer made. Scorrrrrrrre.

It does look sort of similar at a glance.

Eve

From the Miu Miu S/S 2010 collection I absolutely adored the animal prints: cats, dogs, swallows. The shirt below is my favourite combo and if I had a spare thousand lying around this would totally be mine.
Maybe I'll start saving...but by the time I get there it'll prob be sold out.

Raquel Zimmerman by Dutch photographer duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Matadin Vinoodh.

To be shot by Inez & Vinoodh would be a dream beyond dreams.
Gushhhhhhh//
Me in front of a camera and an air fan would equal hours of funny faces, finger poses and endless hair flipping.
Flip it baby, whip it!
