highlighters

I feel like I'm more interested in beauty, make-up and what I put on my face nowadays than actual clothes. Hmmmm maybe it's a phase I'm going through...Anyhow I keep going back to this particular post from IntoTheGloss (no less than 10 times since it was posted last year) so I've decided to blog it here to share it with you guys, maybe you've seen it already maybe you haven't.

It's about highlighters.

First things first, I had no idea what a highlighter even was pre-2011 so don't feel bad if you don't know. At the start of this summer I got out a barely used silver cream  eyeshadow pot and started messing around with it. Below is an excerpt from the article and the areas to target on your face.

Brow bone: your upper, upper eyelid, right underneath the eyebrow.
Inner corners of the eyes: Precisely that—just around the tear duct, in a V-shape.
Tops of cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose, on the center of chin, and along the Cupid’s bow (just above the upper lip).

And I did just that using my fingers. It was a little messy at first but then you become quite deft using only 2 fingers. Try it if you haven't already. Practice makes perfect in the art of looking "sun-kissed".

And lastly, my newest NARS purchase in Laguna that I'm using sparingly because I want it to last for this Winter.
