Check out these absolutely gorgeous, old book covers. Considering they're probably hand-embroidered and stitched, they pretty much stand as pieces of art. I want to fill my future house with walls and walls of beautiful books.
I miss delving into a secondhand bookshop and getting lost in between the nooks and crannies of the shelves. I wouldn't mind curling up beside a fireplace with a book in hand either, it was so cold today!!! Brrrrr...

I've had a pretty rough time these past couple of days. Three people I know have passed away in the last two weeks. Give me a couple more days to get a grip on reality. How are you supposed to cope with all this sadness?
How do you let go?

i heart waffles

Just in case you didn't know, I absolutely love eating waffles. Most willing to eat them at any time- breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch, snack-time, tea-time, midnight snack time... Did you know the primary reason I'm continuing to watch season three of Gossip Girl is because of the Humphrey family waffles? The storyline is getting absurd. Oh and the fashion, of course. Waffles first but toasting marshmallows are definitely a close second.
