I think the November issue of Harper's Bazaar UK pretty much sums up the past trends and fads of year 2008. You've probably seen these pictures hundreds of times by now but look at them again and see if you agree with me.
Plaid, sequins, zippers, beanies, shaggy-carpet fur (that's what i call it), braids, Rodarte, leggings, stripes, PVC pants, excessive jewellery, chunky knits and a substantial amount of Alexander Wang (this year was
totally Mr. Wang's year). I think that sixth picture clearly motivated me to buy these leg warmers.
