quite possibly the most easiest DIY of the century

This all started because of the exorbitant prices retailers expect us to pay for a pair of denim cutoffs. I refuse to pay more money than I would in buying a pair of long denim jeans because there's a significantly less amount of fabric used in making shorts. Hello, has anyone realized that they don't think that we notice this?So I went to a local op-shop and tried on a couple of jeans, found a pair that fit snug, paid 7 bucks for them, took them home and chopped the legs off. Hemming is recommended but I just rolled mine up to the desired length and ta da! Experiment with different colours, styles, distressed denim- you name it.
I'm going to be wearing mine all summer.
