It literally does, it stops the whole country and by that I obviously mean the Melbourne Cup. I have nothing to do with the racing industry whatsoever but I couldn't help but be glued to the television screen as well.

I always like to see the fashions celebs wear to racing events and I thought model Jennifer Hawkins (in Toni Maticevski) looked particularly smashing this year. How gorgeous is her headpiece? I have a huge soft spot for peacock feathers.
