Trust me, you're talking to a die-hard skinny pants lover over here but I really adore these slouchy wide-legged pants paired with chunky heels. Love the mosaic background of the whole Chloé Resort collection, these particular shades of blue make me feel all daydreamy.

I wanted to post about some of my fave outfits from The Row just to mention that I feel like the tailoring is improving every season. The collection itself is giving off a Celine-ish vibe (dunno if that's a good thing or bad) anyhow the palette was rich, I liked the lapels on the outerwear and I refuse to get over how fantastic those red mules look with all-white. Such an expert colour execution that I want to wear myself.

The thing about laid-back outfits is that they basically have to involve a sort of mix-match of easy pieces such as a t-shirt and jeans with exceptionally cool accessories (or accessory). It's like you can't have one without the other. So I guess the word 'effortless' really involves a lot of subconscious, hard work to look carelessly pulled together. It's definitely something I strive for when I open up my wardrobe in the mornings.

I watched Inception the other night and can I just say that it was an unbelievable, cinematic experience. You seriously need to watch it if you haven't already. Bravo, Christopher Nolan!

I was just going through some of the Mary-Kate pictures that were saved on my computer and I've decided that I like her old outfits much better. Oh well, I've accepted that people change and their style changes too. At least we have photos to reflect back to.

It's hard to critique Mary-Kate's outfit. It's more about how she doesn't give a crap about what people think and admiring her for that than saying this doesn't match with this or those glasses are so over done. Although she does look a little cold. I'd be wearing a parka in that sort of weather. Tee hee.

Ashley Olsen in the September '09 issue of Marie Claire and the pictures are just glorious. I love how they use antique furniture in photo shoots like these. It just brings it up a notch and makes the whole thing even better.
The interview is well worth the read as well.
