I love getting my hair cut in Seoul. There is a particular salon that I go to in the E-dae area and I'm reminded of how truly lovely and stress-free the experience is everytime I visit. I love how they wash my hair and squeeze in a head massage afterwards and how they quietly place a blanket over my knees so I don't get cold. Yesterday I was there for my regular trim and my hairdresser always styles my hair afterwards (this time with relaxed curls)! There's classical music playing in the background and I feel like I can just close my eyes and relax for the next 45 minutes. Definitely my little slice of nirvana that I get to have in busy, busy Seoul.

I'm having this kind of ongoing obsession with burgundy nowadays. That and mustard yellow but I'm so happy that it's popping up everywhere on streetstyle blogs, editorials and collections alike. Especially love that glossy burgundy Alexander Wang did for his Fall 2012 collection. I'm just so into this shade, the last thing I bought were in fact two t-shirts of this colour!!!

I've just come back from the movies and I saw Daybreakers (2009), which was definitely just a cross between I Am Legend and 28 Days Later (the zombie film). I'm a bit of a Bram Stoker fan so I've watched A LOT of intreptations of vampire movies (yup- Underworld, seen that one too) and I have to say that I was a tad disappointed. I thought it was going to be sort of on line with Interview with the Vampire but the film didn't have much momentum and it was gory as heck which was a pity because I love watching Sam Neill act.

Just bought a black French Connection studded handbag on sale. It has less studs than I'd like of course but it's the right size and I can fit heaps of things in it so I'm really happy.

I absolutely adore flowers. I'd buy them all the time if they weren't so expensive and they wouldn't die so quickly.But seriously how cool is this ed! We all deserve a few hours in a nice hot tub full of fresh rose petals. Heck, make your bathtub a flower vase if need be. At least your bathroom will smell nice temporarily.

This editorial reminds me of the time a few months back when Rodarte was all the rage. I must have deleted the part about having ligers (hybrid cross between male lion and tigress) or tions (male tiger, lioness) at pyjama parties from my memory though. But by all means, bring them back into vogue again! They're so cute!
