The other day I went to Myeong-dong to check out one of my favourite stores there- Laury's Closet. I picked up a pale-pink sweater/shirt (I know it doesn't look it in the pic!) that was not exactly tweed material but it was giving off tweed-ish vibes reminiscent of Chanel? Wow, I know that's a long stretch- my mind is weird like that, I have no idea how I manage to envision Chanel-style from a mere shirt, ha ha. I am planning to wear it with some grey jeans, my black and white tweed jacket, suede boots, onyx jewellery and some pearls if I can manage to grab my hands on any. Will that close the stretch gap a little, do you think? My current need for Chanel could not be satiated enough without some collection revisiting on the internet, of course. What I really like about the ready-to-wear Fall '06 collection are the ruffled shirts, big bows in the hair and those long white boots. Drape those pearls baby-drape those pearls~!

Doctor...doctor

Does anyone have experience in wearing Dr. Martens??? I desperately want a pair of these cool shoes on the right- the plaid, the height, the laces are so fine. I think they're guys shoes...but dude, I don't care!

Happy New Year 2008!

Hey everybody~ happy new year and best wishes for year 2008! I can't believe it's the start of a brand new year already!!! Christmas is over and it IS the time for my favourite four-letter word of the year- S - A - L- E! Hee hee. I'm madly jealous that everyone has boxing day sales and Christmas or new-years sales to look forward to, Korea isn't really into the sale thing at the start of a new year... A new year means that you can start off fresh with a clean slate, make sure you do something spontaneous today or compliment somebody on their smile!

Friday I'm In Love

hmmm...am back. I must say that I deserve a good self-pat on the back for consistently updating my advent countdown this past month, juggling blogging and exams and academic work is quite the task! Looking back on my posts I'm quite amused with the fact that I constantly posted about my longing for new handbags and shoes. I am quite the shoe fanatic! All is fairly quiet on the blogging front right now, I'm pretty sure everyone is busy with family, holidays and preparing for New Year's. Today I was roaming around the net and I came across the now not-so-new but new issue of Preen magazine (Issue 5) and it is quite appropriate that I post this up since it is quite a nonchalant Friday afternoon...Tis' Friday and I'm in love.....with this picture. I wish my future house will have nice, big, glass windows such as these. I would love to spend my afternoon on a window sill looking at the scenery...wearing those Chloe boots.
Actually now I think about it, I want this whole house.
