wild orchids

I don't know if you're up to speed with the collections at Australian fashion week but the floral presentations hanging out of the models' mouths at Toni Maticevski were just stunning.

lady in red
I asked my mum to send me my Alannah Hill dress that bought I last year. The cut is similar to the dress this stunning woman is wearing below. Very feminine.
I wish it would get warmer quickly so I can wear it in Seoul!

Jubilee

New MAC lipsticks in Vegas Volt (bottom) and Jubilee (top).

I think I just bought THE MOST feminine dress in my closet. I was saddened to hear that Aussie designer Alannah Hill was no longer helming her namesake label anymore so I just had to buy myself a little piece of history.

'The Fundamentals'

Source: camilla and marc Spring 2013 collection
"CAMILLA AND
MARC Spring13 sees the brand invoking a new level of simplicity, exploring both
decorative techniques and the absence of excess. Taking the Japanese concept of
wabi-sabi into consideration throughout the design process the collection plays
with asymmetry and simplicity."
I had a hard time picking out my favourite pieces to post about to be honest with you. The whole collection is so elegant. The collared short-sleeved dresses are my absolute fave though, I can imagine myself wearing them just about everywhere.

long knit sleeves

A lovely, holey knit sweater is a great transitioning piece for Autumn. Slip it over a sheer tank top while you're still in short shorts. I mean you've just gotta bare those legs until it's unbearable.

'The Radicals'

Source: camilla and marc pre collection 2013
"Taking inspiration from the lavish interiors of Versailles. Versailles, with its opulent and highly decorative rooms filled with print and texture, created a starting point of a luxurious fabrics and rich colour. Camilla and marc pre collection 2013 translates highly decorative interiors into a brilliantly bright collection."
My fave outfits from a collection involving a lot of easy, elegant shift dresses that I find myself mentally slipping into. I'm adoring this use of deep copper- such a slick jacket!

fancy a summer cocktail?
Source: Free People May 2012 lookbook/ilovewildfox
I'm thinking of getting this Lisa Maree 'down the garden path one piece' in orange. It also comes in black and white...but the one thing I do worry about is, awkward tan lines much?
Crochet is so cute in the summertime~!!!
