Blake at Cannes

Blake Lively wore a Gucci Première dress at the Cannes Film Festival this year. What I really liked about this look overall was her hairstyle since I really love the chunky, super-long ponytail braid look. I think the messiness of it balances out the elegance and stiffness of the whole red-carpet affair nicely.

Supposedly this collection was inspired by the meeting of "sci-fi and fantasy" and unfortunately (for me) I don't see it very well....however, what I do like about the collection are the rich hues and metallic sheens. Perfect pieces for mixing and matching in a wearable wardrobe.

I asked my mum to send me my Alannah Hill dress that bought I last year. The cut is similar to the dress this stunning woman is wearing below. Very feminine.

I wish it would get warmer quickly so I can wear it in Seoul!

I think I just bought THE MOST feminine dress in my closet. I was saddened to hear that Aussie designer Alannah Hill was no longer helming her namesake label anymore so I just had to buy myself a little piece of history.

Missguided

My brain must be running in summer mode because all I see and all I seem to be looking for when I'm window shopping are bright n' colourful prints, tropical prints, rainbow-coloured flowers, birds of paradise...you get the picture. What I'm searching for is the perfect bustier or bandeau swim top that I can wear under a loose linen tank top. I stumbled upon this flouncy pink dress and this tropical bustier and it felt like I was running in the right direction. Smitten!
