Playing Gretel
The latest issue of Vogue Girl Korea features some lovely fairy-tale inspired looks.
I think it would've looked equally awesome if the shoot had taken place at the ice-rink.
Love the coloured tights, fur accents and tulle, making it quite cutesy and wild at the same time.I am in desperate need of some long leather gloves!!!

Coffee Prince 1호점
I don't know if you've seen this drama, I don't know if you know that Korean dramas exist at all???!! But not long ago MBC's Coffee Prince 1호점 was a massive hit in Korea. Rarely do I watch dramas from start to finish (or even bother to watch any at all) but this time I have to say I really enjoyed watching the short-yet-sweet series.I'm not going be a spoiler and blab about the plotlines so I will keep my lips sealed for the time being. Anyhow, the series was filmed in a coffee shop during the summer of '07. And heaven behold, I found out sometime later that this same coffee shop had reopened for the public and it's location was in Hongdae! I thought it would be in some rich Kangnam neighbourhood, you see. I happened to have dinner with a friend last week in the Hongdae area and I thought it'd be nice to visit the place so off we went. Looks as if the people refused to change anything about the place because it looked exactly like the way it was when they shooted it. A big pity that the second floor was unavailable for sitting. The coffee was disapointedly just mediocre as with the decor (if truth be told, there are heaps more decorated cafes in Seoul) but it had a warm atmosphere and was surprisingly less busier than I expected. It was nice to look at the doodles on the windows made by the lead actress Yoon Eun Hye. Whether you're a drama-junkie or not, Coffee Prince would be nice to visit on a one-off if you're ever in Seoul- just for all the memories. Location:
Get off Hongdae Station (Subway Line 2) Exit 4. You will see Seven Springs family restaurant right in front. Walk straight ahead until reaching a T-section and turn left. Turn right into the street when you see Hongik Galbee. Keep on walk ing straight and it will be on the right at the end of the long street.

Out and about
Look what I stumbled onto, a picture of Rachel Bilson chilling in Beverley Hills and looking so relaxed. Just so cool. She look's good!
The funny thing is, is that I happened to be wearing something similar to her the other day but obviously the effect was rather different. What is that 'it-factor' that gives some people that 'oomph' that other people don't have, I wonder? Perhaps I need to acquire those Chloe shades of hers??!!!

I heart knits
Let's face the facts, if you open my wardrobe you will see that I own a lot of knitwear. I think that knits are the most versatile, easy-to-wear, chic yet simple and interesting pieces of clothing. Combine another thing I adore, hand-made goods + knitwear and I will faint in delight. Beanies, mittens, gloves, cardigans.....that's why I love knits to the death!
Here is a project I started on a while ago, the picture to the left is a work-in-progress. Uh....if you delve deeper into my wardrobe you can pretty much guess that yep, I own a lot of scarfs too and not just the knitted types...But when the weather starts to get chilly, my mind just absent mindedly ponders over this season's neckwear. I fell in love with the United Colors of Benetton chain scarf when it came out a while back.Remember these gorgeous pictures? I love Benetton ads, they are so creative & colourful.
I was wondering if I should attempt to make a chain link scarf on my own as a DIY but I figured it would take way too much time, so it's just a normal scarf this time.

The last of fall
A few minutes after loading the previous post, I figured that I should probably blog about something more fashion or style related... so stretching a little further out into accessories- let me show you what I purchased a week ago online.Autumn is finally coming to an end, the few yet beautiful leaves that I managed to find have been incorporated into the pic.I've always wanted a charm bracelet and when I saw it on my favourite 100% handmade jewellery site -Jang's- I had to get it immediately. I have to say, I love it to death and I love it even more because it's handmade.
Pecan pie anyone?
Normally I don't mind the rain, I actually like jumping about in the puddles like a kid. It's a similar feeling to tramping around in the fallen leaves during Autumn, but slightly wetter! However, when the sodding rain starts to pour, then stop and then start pouring cats and dogs in intervals- me without an umbrella and wearing very expensive suede boots- I get quite grumpy. I dove headfirst into a nearby coffee shop soaking wet from head to toe into, you know, one of those overpriced coffee chain franchises. As with 'Angel in-us coffee', I was very unimpressed with the inflated prices yet appreciated the quiet atmosphere and while munching on my slice I couldn't help but admire the cute logo and was quite amused reading the boastful 'the world's best coffee'. Wait didn't Starbucks say something like that a while back? or was that Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf or Cafe Pascucci?

Queen Mab
That was the first thing I thought of when I found out what this Mulberry 'Mabel patent leather' bag was called. How exotic, yet evil(?) does this bag look? I absolutely love the purple-ness of it!The vibrancy of this colour has suddenly made me pine for ruby grapefruit!~how random is that? Guess which other celeb has managed to get her hands on the Burberry Prorsum Knight studded bag that I gushed over the other day? Nice airport-outift, Cam!

To infinity and beyond~
What do I like most about Cameron Diaz? Her legs! They never seem to come to an end!She looks totally awesome in this picture!!! I found something similar to the killer shoes that she has on, these Wood grain sandals by Sergio Rossi are definitely sexy.
This is totally off the subject, but how cute does Rachel Weisz look in this Snow White get-up? I love the real animals they used in the shot.

Flaming red
You know that question you come across in those self-quizzes- Who would you be if you could trade your place with a person for one day? - then I would shamelessly and vainly reply, ' a red head'. I love red hair, I think it's just unexplainably absolutely amazing.
It can't be helped that red-haired people are also just naturally beautiful, I think it is quite unfair that they happen to exhibit and represent the high ended portion of the good-looking population.
Take Julianne Moore for instance, she is drop dead gorgeous.Marcia Cross' (of course highlighted but nevertheless) copper tresses stop me in my tracks whenever I see a scene in 'Desperate Housewives'.
A picture of this handsome unknown taken by The Sartorialist. I swear, I scrutinized those curls for minutes on end.
I loved Lindsay Lohan when she was a redhead in her 'Parent Trap' and 'Mean Girls' days. Forget blond bombshell, fiery red is always a head turner! The reason I watched 'Spiderman' was because of MJ's hair (Kirsten Dunst)- NOT! :PAnother beauty is Bryce Dallas Howard, whose good looks parallel her remarkable acting skills.
But my favourite redhead of all time is of course, Ronald Weasley. But give me Rupert Grint anyday, yes please!

Delta Force
Finally blogger is up and running! It seems the system has been down over here for the last five days but I'm so happy that everything is alright again. Tis' an unusual to feel consciously blog deprived, it really is a peculiar feeling! Has anyone else been having problems, I wonder???Today, I'm going to blab about one of my fav Aussie singers, Delta Goodrem, AGAIN!!! You probably know that her new cd has come out. Above is the pic for her awesome new album cover. The other pics are also from her album and she looks so natural and gorgeous in every picture, I swear I would love to get acquainted with her make-up artist! If you haven't heard any of her songs, you really should check them out!
Songs to check out: the funky 'In this Life', 'Possessionless', the catchy 'Bare Hands', inspirational 'The Guardian'...her ballads are heaven! You can here snippets of the songs on her official site.
Isn't she such a gorgeous girl?!!! Here she is at the Arias in Australia with Nicole Kidman. I'm not too sure about the outfit on her though, I think it makes her look a bit stiff and robotic, but great hair! On the other hand, Ms. Kidman (or Mrs. Urban?) looks fab in an understated black lace dress.
