this shade of blue and silver would be nice 2gether...
Totally in love with the colour of Serena van der Woodsen's Phillip Lim coat.
I'm so used to associating Blake Lively with her GG alter ego I use both names simultaneously. She is after all, "in character".

the GG closet
So jealous that Blake Lively and Leighton Meester have access to all the lovely things that Eric Daman has collected for the show. The post should be probably retitled the 'Gossip Girl STOREHOUSE' because it's so big. I'd do anything to sneak in there, a dream come true!

Gosh, I need to make my closet look more rainbow-coloured so I can sort everything by colour. It just looks so aesthetically pleasing. I could just sit on the floor gazing up at the hangers and shelves like, FOREVER.
Remember that white, Marc by Marc which Blair wore for that party? I thought it was such an unusually cute dress and it looked stunning accessorized with the headband.

this is the reason why models model

Uhhhh...yeah I know. You're thinking, OMG, she has such an amaaaaaazing body, while simultaneously wondering, how does that work????? How does she end up coming from the I'm-chosen-to-have-a-naturally-fabulous-body gene pool?
But why not meeeeeeeeee???!
No, but seriously as much as I'm babbling on and such, of course I envy models with bodies like Miranda Kerr but at the same time I'm relatively happy with the body I have.
I wouldn't mind being a smidgen taller though, perhaps another 6 cm?
Hehe.
Let's not take this too hard girlies. Apparently, shorter people are more likely to live longer and are less prone to breast cancer,
Woah whoo!

I forgot where this is from...sorry! I think it's from an issue of Vanity Fair shot by Patrick Demarchelier.
I love the hole-y sweater so much!

How beautfiul does Natalia Vodianova look in these shots?
She looks incredibly girly and with the pink haze- so pretty!
This past weekend was very much a busy one involving some shopping (plus groceries!) and lovely walks in the snow.
I bought a black velvet dress @ Zuma (YeoungDeungPo Times Square), a pair of much-needed black pants at the underground shops under the Seoul Express Bus Terminal subway station (line 3) and two knit sweaters from Zara- while the sales were on!
Hope you had a good one!
xoxo

the other Kate
If you look at Kate Bosworth's tFS thread, her candid style has equal amounts of hits and misses. Some may think she can't dress at all but regardless of whether she can or can't, what initially catches my eye about Kate's personal look is the way she mismatches colours into a cohesive oufit and the way she rocks a Gap sweater just as well as wearing Stella McCartney or Proenza Schouler. That's pretty admirable and a teensy bit easier for those of us who wish to emulate a certain look of hers.
Plus, she has fabulous taste in accessorizing.
I am literally drooling over her black Prada and as you can see, she clearly has a Chloe shoe mania.

my dream house always has french windows
Dree Hemingway walking the streets of Paris in an editorial for GALA doing what she does best.
Rocking out some awesome poses clad in Gucci, Burberry and various others.
Check out the zebra-crossing one, if I do that pose it looks like I'm attempting to a yoga stance or something :P

Personally, I love to pile on rings for both hands but because I've got such small fingers and the rings do tend to get in the way of everything I do, I spend much more time taking them off when I wash my hands and then they tend to stay off permanently. Recently I've had my eye out for large, coloured, vintage rocks. I'm very much into antique jewellery but solid stones tend to be a bit pricey so I don't mind mixing it up with non-real stones. Nobody needs to know the difference :P

Can't stop gushing about Natalie Portman....
If you scroll back through the history of this blog then you already know I'm a huge fan.
She's so beautiful, smart, an avid vegetarian/vegan and plays such interesting characters in her movies. She's come a long way since Leon aka The Professional and she's getting even better with age.
Star Wars, Garden State, Closer and are some of her memorable films I've watched.
What a woman.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010
Source:tFS
Happy new year everyone! It's 2010 already and I can't believe it! It would have been way better if I had posted this sooner but I spent New Years and the rest of the week out of town with my grandma and she doesn't have a computer in her house. A week goes by and there's so much catching up to do blog-wise, emails, phone calls, etc. Anyways, I've been browsing peoples' blogs and it seems like everybody had a great new years eve.
Here's to the rest of the year!
Wishing you lots of love and laughter,
xoxo
Heather.
