Today is my birthday!
Hey people, I hope you had a great weekend. I spent mine doing various things; going to Cafe BauHouse again to play with some furry friends, eating fried chicken, watching reruns of HOUSE season five, getting a new phone, drinking copious amounts of caffeine, shopping for....
Gotcha! It isn't a bag. Dude are you kidding, I know it's a day of celebration but I can't afford a Chanel handbag. However I can afford pressed powder and some Laura Mercier Eye Brow Gel.
Some birthday prezzies for myself :) Send me some love and BIRTHDAY wishes by following me or via Bloglovin' ----------------->
clickety click! :p
Thanks for sticking by me, xoxo.

i WANT that floral LOVER bikini!
If you haven't somehow wandered across Zanita's blog already, you've been missing out. She's an amazing model (she does us Aussies proud!) plus she takes some awesome pictures. She's getting so good at it too! Check out the shots she took of fellow model Susie Reid. Couldn't help but post these, you know I'm a total sucker for beach pics.
She also tagged me with the NW Magazine Mr Paparazzi tag so I have a few Q's to answer:
What is the most worn item of clothing in your wardrobe?
Denim. More specifically, jeans. + a blazer
It’s Oscar night and you can be dressed by any designer, who would you choose?
Marchesa.
Sorry...I know, I know. But I want to be super girly on Oscar night....but why am I attending the Oscars again?
What trend are you tired of?
Leggings + Ugg boots.
If together then it's an even more toxic combination.
If you could give any celebrity a makeover, who would it be?
Lindsay Lohan. However, I love her acting skills.
Who is your celebrity style icon and why?
Ashley Olsen and MK Olsen + Rachel Bilson. I actually have a few more but....uhh the reason is (besides the obvious reason of being fabulously stylish) that they're petite and I'm petite too.
Therefore relatable.
I tag LoveMore and Park&Cube.

cAMILLA aND mARC
Urgh, I hate it when Photobucket does that thing every time I exceed bandwith....the rest of the pics will be up and running soon.
Fashion Week has made me eat my words. Have you seen the new Proenza Schouler show and Reed Krakoff?!!! SWOON~!
For the time being let's fly over to the opposite side of the globe and see the latest from Camilla and Marc. I remember browsing the racks at Myer (Australian department store) and always finding empty hangers- they sell out that fast in Oz. I find that their prices are a tad high for a person on a student's budget but a girl can always dream....Loving that particular shade of green and the dresses (the white one-shoulder).

DenimOnDenim
I've been going through the NYC runway shows but none have been particularly jaw-dropping in my opinion.
However, a few noteworthy designers to check out are the androgenous looks from Rag & Bone, hardy Diesel Black Gold, the velvet at Alexander Wang, rock 'n' rolling Jill Stuart, Nanette Lepore, fluoros at Generra and a lovely surprise this season from Rebecca Taylor. Go to style.com to see the rest.
And I can't believe I missed the live streaming of the William Rast Fall 2010 show, argh! Has anyone seen it?
Only three more days left of holidays until the semester starts again. Am getting much too lazy for my own good...wish I still had a few more weekends left to lounge around....

bootie-licious
I ordered these grey belt booties and they just arrived the other day.
Sweeeet! They're so beautiful and totally me.
Simple and clean cut.
Off to catch a train now to visit the grandparents for Korean New Years. Happy new year to those of you who follow the Lunar Year! Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a few posts but if not see you next Tuesday!
p.s. Have a quick question. Am contemplating whether or not to join Bloglovin'. Does anyone want to explain to me what's so good about it?
p.p.s Happy Birthday MOM!!! much love.

On a sidenote, I got a Best Blog Award from Coco & Zaahb. Totally sweet! It's been ages since I've gotten any sort of achievement award. Also, I know I don't mention it as often as I'd like to but I truly appreciate every one who comes onto my blog to look at the images, those who leave comments and those of you who are my followers! Afterall, blogging is nothing without the feedback.
mUcH LOVE!

Alexander McQueen S/S 2010 Campaign
The only worry that I have with using animals in editorial campaigns for clothing, handbags, make-up, etc. is the possibilty that there will be a sudden demand for a certain animal and a subsequent mass exportation. I sincerely hope wild python and snake numbers won't drop as I'm seeing a increased interest in using snake skins this past season.

FIERCE
It was -11 degrees today....brrrr so cold! It might be nothing for you Canadians but I have no patience when my fingers feel like they're about to fall off! Anyways, I like to start my day with a cuppa at my nearby Starbucks when it's freezing outside so off I went for my caffeine fix but it turns out that they raised their prices.
I was really peeved.
The only reason why I go to Starbucks and not any other cafe in Seoul is because they have competitive prices. I'm telling you, there ARE HEAPS of coffee shops in Seoul. It's not like Starbucks doesn't have enough money already, you know?
There. My little rant is over.
I thought it would be appropriate to post this pic of Lara Stone giving her FIERCE face.

I was one grumpy, cappuccino lady today.

Bling&Jean
I've been a little distracted lately because I moved again and all the packing, unpacking, cleaning and rearranging things has taken up a lot of my time this past week so I know that my posts have been lacking a certain depth of mind and soul. I apologize for that.
The other day I was scouring the internet for the Feb. issue of Paris Vogue and I came across the monthly EnVogue spread.
Literally, my jaw dropped when I saw it for the first time.
I have a huge passion for denim so I'm loving the denim on denim trend that's starting up everywhere. I like this look even more because it's a combo that I can't pull off (it totally washes me out). I tend to covet things that are hard to pull off by myself.
The other reason why I like this spread is the vibrancy, colour and energy of the 70s/80s that Geraldine Saglio has incorporated to create a hybrid-modern day look. Perfect inspiration for injecting a bit of colour to my outfits with bling accessories during these cold, winter months.
And finally, who doesn't like a bit of Farrah Fawcett hair?

La vie comme un conte
Source: FashionGoneRogue
Of course LIFE is a fairytale.
:)
Karlie looks so pretty with huge flowers in her hair and I absolutely love the bracelet!
Dreaming on.... it's probably like a gazillion dollars.
Have a happy first of Feb!
I love this month because of my mum's birthday, my birthday and Valentine's Day <3
