Hey guys!
I hope you all had a great Christmas and spent it surrounded with loving family and friends. I sure did!
I know I haven't been the best blogger this year, but to be honest I think I needed a break from it and some form of digital detachment from the online world. Plus 2015 was just a difficult year.
Hopefully 2016 will be much better....thanks for sticking around.
xoxo

Sephora haulin'
Source: my own
So it's actually been a while since I went to Sydney and bought these products in Sephora. Usually madness ensues and I come out significantly less wealthy because overseas make-up products are preeeeety pricey in Australia. But I really wanted to try these hyped beauty products and here are my mini reviews:
1. Bite Beauty Agave lip mask in Champagne.
Would I re-purchase again? YES.
Beautiful sheen and moisturizing lip balm that you can use as an overnight mask and as a bronzed lip look for daytime.
2. Anastasia Brow Wiz in Ebony
Would I re-purchase again? NO.
Love how thin and tiny the pencil is but much too expensive a product for something that is not even 1 gram.
3. Becca Shimmering skin perfector in Opal
Would I re-purchase again? YES.
A tiny bit goes a LOOOOOONG way with this stuff. Too much and it shows your pores.
4. Amika leave in cream for hair
Would I re-purchase again? NO.
Smells lovely and fragrant but I want to try other hair masks.
5. Bite Beauty Matte creme lip crayon in Sucre.
Would I re-purchase again? YES.
Very moisturizing but doesn't have extra-long staying power. Needs touch-ups throughout the day but worth the non-drying formulation.

catch

Hello again. You've probably noticed that I have not been into the blogging thing as often this year. To be honest with you, I've been feeling a little burnt out and lack of inspiration in general has taken a huge toll on myself posting regularly. I think moving back to a smaller city in Australia from Seoul has a lot to do with this. If I'm not inspired = no blog posts.
Nowadays, I feel like the internet is churning out the same thing over and over again and lacking original content. Most blogs I look at nowadays seem a little contrived (except the ones I truly love) and lacking eccentricity and spontaneity. I think that is one of the reasons why I have branched out into looking at make-up Youtube channels.
Don't get me wrong, I still love fashion but my love for it fluctuates and right now I'm in a bit of a rut. Hopefully I haven't lost my blogging mojo completely. Thanks to those of you for continually coming back and checking up on this site.
XOXO.

DIY shell candles

This is such a great idea. Just purchase pre-waxed wicks and then glue them into the shells for a cute DIY.

eat, pray, love

I've been so AWOL lately, I know. I feel like a lot of things are going on in my life at the moment that I can't control...This TED talk by author Elizabeth Gilbert (of Eat, Pray, Love fame) really resonated with me. Have a listen.

just perfect

I feel like I'm having a harder time finding editorials that inspire me and subsequently to post on this blog. Maybe it's because I feel like I've seen the same thing over and over again and thus a little jaded about the whole 'fashun' thing in general but the ed above was something that I saw and instantly liked, a rarity nowadays.

scandal
I'm currently watching back-to-back episodes of Scandal and I can't stop/won't stop. OH EM GEE is this series GOOD and Olivia Pope's clothes are to die for, seriously. A muted colour palette and overabundance of Prada bags makes me swoon. Truth be told, I only like most of her outfits from season one and two. What about you, do you watch Scandal?
